The Advance-Titan is the student newspaper of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Since 1874
the student press has been part of Oshkosh. Students and faculty rely on the Advance-Titan for
coverage of all campus events and local news.
The newspaper is distributed weekly during the school year to over 50 locations in the city,
reaching over 13,000 readers in the community.
The Advance-Titan is hereby authorized to publish advertising for the advertiser as described by
and is subject to all of the conditions herein mentioned and as is described by and is subject to
the guidelines as sated in the Advance-Titan rate card.

Contract rates are for one semester and must be signed prior to the ad deadline
for the week the ad will appear.

If the minimum amounts of inches in your contract are not used, you will be billed for
the remaining inches at the rate of $8.75. (Example: 175-249 contract – you use 100 inches.
The remaining 75 inches will be billed to you at the $8.75 rate. (75 x $8.75 = $656.25
will be billed to your account.)
Inserts
Sample inserts must be submitted for approval to the Advance-Titan two weeks before the
issue. Inserts should be shipped one week before the insertion date. Contact the
advertising manager for shipping address.

Classified Advertising
Classified ads are $3.00 per line for internet or newspaper ads, and $5.00 for both internet
and newspaper ads.
Display Advertising
Display classifieds are placed within the classified section and cost $9.08 per column inch.
