Oct. 25, 2015 (7:11 a.m.) Officers saw an intoxicated female riding a bicycle near the South Scott Hall bicycle rack. The female left the area before she could be contacted. Three unlocked bicycles were found lying around the Scott Hall terrace in that same area. The three bicycles were collected by officers as found property and secured at the police department impound. Oct. 26, 2015 (12:32 p.m.) An officer responded to Fletcher Hall regarding an 18-year-old male UW Oshkosh student who was restricted and had been observed in Fletcher Hall. The officer made later contact with the male in Sage Hall and he was ultimately warned for unauthorized presence and released. Oct. 27, 2015 (7:30 p.m.) A 20-year-old male UW Oshkosh student reported that his wallet had been stolen from his backpack while he was at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center. The wallet was later found in the men’s locker room, but was missing the cash that was originally in the wallet. After further investigation, it was learned that a 21-year-old non-affiliated male, who had been using a 20-year-old female student’s UW Oshkosh ID to gain access into the SRWC, stole the wallet. After speaking with the 21-year-old male, he admitted to stealing the money from the wallet and leaving the wallet in the locker room. The male was cited for theft and the 20-year-old female was cited for permitting use of UW Oshkosh ID for unlawful purpose. The 21-year-old male returned the money that he stole. The wallet and money were returned back to the victim. Oct. 28, 2015 (5:17 p.m.) Officers responded to Kolf Sports Center regarding a suspicious person. A UW Oshkosh employee had observed an elderly male in Kolf walking around not wearing a shirt. Officers were unable to locate the male and cleared from Kolf without incident. Oct. 31, 2015 (2:25 a.m.) Officers responded to a report by community service officers that a female was carried unconscious into a North Scott Hall room. An officer entered the room to check the welfare of the female and found her breathing but unresponsive. An 18-year-old female resident UW Oshkosh student was transported to Mercy Medical Center by ambulance and admitted on an alcohol incapacitation. She was cited for underage consumption of alcoholic beverages (1st offense). During the investigation, officers came in contact with several other individuals. A 20-year-old visiting non-affiliated female was cited for underage consumption of alcoholic beverages (1st offense). A 21-year-old visiting non-affiliated male, on probation with the Department of Corrections, was cited for reproducing an ID card. An 18-year-old resident female UW Oshkosh student was warned for underage consumption of alcoholic beverages. A 19-year-old resident male UW Oshkosh student was warned for underage consumption/possession of alcoholic beverages, ID card violation (2 counts), and possession of a dangerous weapon (spring-loaded switchblade knife).
