Busted

Busted Nov. 24, 2015 (5:59 a.m.) An officer responded to Halsey Science Center to investigate a second floor broken stairwell window found by custodians. Investigation revealed that person(s) unknown were throwing rocks and broke two plate glass stairwell windows. Building entry was not gained. Dec. 5, 2015 (9:56 p.m.) An officer responded to North Scott Hall to investigate damage to the men’s second floor restroom. When the officer arrived he found that an unknown person had pulled one of the sinks off of the wall. The officer spoke with two 19-year-old female UW Oshkosh resident students who heard several loud banging noises coming from the restroom however did not see who had damaged the sink. The investigation is ongoing. Dec. 6, 2015 (3:02 a.m.) An officer responded to Evans Hall after the on-duty Community Advisors reported a broken window on the first floor lounge. The officer met with the CAs who reported that someone had possibly punched the window. There are no suspects at this time and the investigation is ongoing. Dec. 6, 2015 (10:48 a.m.) An officer responded to Fletcher Hall to investigate the report of fire damage to chairs and the carpet. The officer gathered information and documented the scene. This case is pending further investigation. Dec. 6, 2015 (5:45 p.m.) An officer responded to Fletcher Hall to investigate the report of a damaged plastic thermostat cover. It appeared the thermostat cover had been intentionally burned and melted by an unknown subject. It is unknown when this damage occurred. This case is pending further investigation.
