New Associate Vice Chancellor and Dean of Students Art Munin wants UW Oshkosh students to know his name and face as he begins his new job at UWO.
“I’m ecstatic to be here,” Munin said. “Please come up and say hello to me. I will be out there, I want to be very approachable. Drop me an email, drop by the office. If there’s an event going on on campus you’d like me to come to, please drop me a line and invite me, I would absolutely love to … I just can’t say enough about how excited I am to be here and work with students at UWO.”
Munin, who started in his new role on Monday, said UWO students should look at his office as a resource for them when they need help dealing with issues during their time at the university.
“If you are encountering a problem and you’re not sure where to go, that means you’re supposed to go to the Dean of Students office,” Munin said. “We can try and help make some of those connections for you so that you can keep doing what you need to to be successful.”
