A two vehicle collision killed a driver and left two others wounded on Sep. 15. 

 Just after 10:30 a.m. on Sep. 14, dispatchers sent the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office to County Highway Z and Country Club Road where callers reported two cars as completely totaled. Upon arrival, authorities pronounced the driver of one of the vehicles deceased while their passenger was critically injured and airlifted to a local hospital. Officials said the driver of the other vehicle had minor injuries.

Dispatchers sent units from the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office and Fond du Lac County Office, as well as crews from the Oshkosh Fire Department, Van Dyne Fire Department, and ThedaStar Medical Helicopter to the scene. The road remained closed for a few days after the incident to finish up securing the scene

No information has been released to the public about the identities of the drivers or passengers of the vehicles.
