Being able to get through the school day can be hard, especially on gruellingly long days. I know I often want a pick-me-up to make it to the end of the day in one piece. So whether you’re trying to get through exams, a huge homework load, or simply just get through the day, just like I am, here are some of my favorite pick-me-up drinks that are easily found on campus!
- Bubbl’r Bubbl’rs have great flavor choices, some natural caffeine for a small boost, and are quite refreshing. I find myself always gravitating towards one when I’m feeling like I want a drink but not too much caffeine. They are also easily found all over campus at the Convenience Corner Store, Clow Cafe and the many vending machines. All this said, it makes them easily my number one choice.
2. Coffee I may be biased but coffee will always be a top choice of mine for a pick me up. It doesn’t have an absurd amount of caffeine and I love the flavor of it, regardless if it’s black or a sweet latte. I also enjoy that coffee is so easily customizable and you can have it hot or iced! It’s also super easy to find coffee on campus, like in the Reeve Memorial Union or Einstein Bagels, which makes this a close second choice for me.
- Redbull Although it is not easily found on campus, this is easily another top three choice of mine for a pick me up. Similar to Bubbl’rs, there’s a wide range of flavors and some size choices. The inconvenience of it being only sold at the Corner Convenience Store is what knocks it down the list for me. But it’s great for those long spans of studying or late night projects where you just need to keep moving along.
A fun drink is the best way to get you through the school day. Luckily, there are many options, and vending machines on campus.
