Four UW Oshkosh senior football players were nominated to d3football.com’s All-Region Team for the 2018 season.

Both senior guard Alex Wendorf and senior linebacker Derrick Jennings Jr. were nominated to the first team.

Wendorf completed his senior season starting all 10 games this year, bringing him to 33 starts in his career. The nomination is Wendorf’s second after making All-Region Second Team last year.

Jennings Jr. played all 10 games this season as well and recorded 62 total tackles on the season, giving him 174 for his career. The DeForest native also recorded two sacks, forced two fumbles and intercepted the opposing quarterback four times. This is also Jennings Jr.’s second nomination to d3football.com’s All-Region Team, as he won the award last season.

Senior secondary players AJ Plewa and Cole Yoder also garnered an All-Region selection.

Plewa was selected to the second team All-Region Team after recording 36 total tackles, two interceptions and nine pass break-ups in 10 games this year. This is Plewa’s first selection to d3football’s All-Region Team. The Milwaukee native was elected to the All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Team last year as well as in 2016.

Yoder also made the second team boasting a stat line of 71 tackles, four interceptions and a sack in 10 games this season. Yoder also made d3football.com’s All Region Team last year with a third team selection.

The senior class compiled 42 wins, making them the winningest class in Titan football history.
