The UW Oshkosh men’s cross country team would race their last meet of the season before the WIAC Championship, placing third on Oct. 24.
The teams competing were UW-Platteville, finishing first in the meet, and UW-Whitewater, finishing second.
The top five runners scoring for the Titans, starting with the lone top-20 runner, was Joseph Hertel, who placed 14th and scored seven points. Finishing second on the team overall, Alex Arndt placed 21st while scoring 13 points. The third-place finisher on the team, placing 25th, was Owen Bostwick, scoring 15 points. Coming in fourth place on the team was Aaron Nehls, finishing 28th overall and scoring 18 points, while Zac Watson would be the last scorer on the team, finishing in 32nd place and scoring 19 points. Brady Lewis placed 36th and scored 20 points, and Jerry Sowers placed 37th and scored 21 points to wrap up the top seven overall runners for the Titans.
Overall, the men’s team placed one in the top 20 and placed three runners in the top 30, and finished the meet off with two runners finishing back-to-back to secure third place.

The teams competing were UW-Whitewater, finishing first in the meet; finishing second was UW-Platteville and finishing third was Viterbo University.
The top five runners scoring for the Titans were first, Madeline Osmanski, who placed 22nd and scored 15 points. Finishing second on the team overall and placing 23rd was Anabel Mitchell, scoring 16 points. The third-place finisher on the team, placing 24th, was Athena Soto, scoring 17 points. Coming in fourth place on the team, Leah Modjeski finished 27th overall and scored 19 points, while Rylee Hucke would be the last scorer on the team, finishing in 31st place and scoring 22 points. Finishing the overall top-seven runners for the Titans was Annie Jesse, finishing in 32nd place and scoring 23 points.
Overall, the Titans finished fourth at the meet.
