The UW Oshkosh men’s cross country team placed seventh, scoring 236 points, and the UWO women’s team placed eighth, scoring 296 points at the NCAA Division III North Regional Championship on Saturday Nov. 15 at UW-Eau Claire this past Saturday.
On the men’s side, three Titans secured three All-Region honors. Senior Cameron Cullen placed ninth with a time of 24:52 for his second All-Region award. Paul Proteau placed 13th for the Titans with a time of 25:05, getting his second All-Region award. Trent Chadwick was named All-Region for the first time after a 27th place finish with a time of 25:34.
The men’s race featured 31 teams and was won by UW-La Crosse with a team score of 30 points. UW-Stevens Point came in second place with a team score of 110 points. UW-Platteville rounded out the top three with a team score of 120 points.
On the women’s side, the Titans secured one All-Region honor. UWO was led by freshman Lehna Mitchell, who placed 28th with a time of 22:50 and secured her first All-Region honor.
The women’s race featured 30 teams and was won by UW-La Crosse with a team score of 45. Carleton College (Minnesota) with a team score of 71. UW-Eau Claire rounded out the top three with a team score of 123.
