The spring golf season came to a close on April 26, as UW-Oshkosh traveled to the Golf Club at Cedar Creek in Onalaska for the UW-La Crosse Invitational.
Oshkosh finished in a tie for fourth with 345 strokes, shooting 57 over par. The Titans tied with the UW-La Crosse “B” team.
Senior Taryn Endres led the team, finishing in a second-place tie individually with 80 strokes with Megan Bermejo of UW-River Falls. Endres finished eight over par, with a birdie and ten pars across the 18 holes.
Finishing in 5th place was Ava Fahrenholz as the sophomore, competing individually, tied with UWL’s Haley Thoeny with ten over par. Fahrenholz collected two birdies on the course during the day.
Chloe Young completed her day in a four-way tie for 16th, with the sophomore shooting 15 over par.
Junior Rylie Severson and freshman Addy Horne tied for 21st place. Both golfers completed their rounds 17 over par, with Horne adding a birdie onto the scorecard.
In a three-way tie for 27th was Hailey Matenaer, as the senior completed the event 19 over par and a birdie recorded.
Also competing individually was freshman Aliza Koput, who finished in 36th place, with 24 strokes over par.
With the collegiate offseason now in full swing, the Titans look to get rest, relax, and enjoy the upcoming summer before heading back out onto the greens this fall for another season of UWO golf.
