After months of scouring the internet, and confirming with both d3football.com and other school’s schedules, the Advance-Titan has uncovered the 2026 UW-Oshkosh football schedule. The season consists of four home games, with six of their opponents qualifying for last season’s NCAA Tournament.
Oshkosh will kick off the 2026 season by hosting Linfield University (Oregon) on Sept. 5. The Titans and Wildcats faced each other last season in the beaver state, with UWO getting the 31-14 victory on 435 total yards of offense during the contest. That was the only non-conference loss for the Wildcats, with Linfield accruing a 7-2 overall record, and a 6-1 Northwest Conference record. The 2025 meeting was also the first game between the two schools to not reach overtime, as Oshkosh now holds a 3-0 record heading into their fourth matchup of all time.
Week Two sends the black and gold on the road to neighboring Michigan, as Alma College will host UWO on Sept. 12 at Bahlke Field. The Scots made the second round of the postseason last season, finishing with a 8-3 overall record, and went undefeated in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association. This will be the third meeting between the Titans and Scots, with the last game played between the two being on Sept. 28, 2013. Oshkosh has won both the 2013 and 2012 matchups, outscoring the Scots 126-12.
A first-ever matchup will take place in Iowa in week three, with Coe College playing host to Oshkosh on Sept. 12 at Clark Field. The Kohawks went 9-3 during their 2025 campaign, and compiled a 7-1 record in the American Rivers Conference while making a second round appearance in the postseason. On the field, the Kohawks 38 points, 195 rushing yards, and 284 passing yards per game. Defensively, Coe held their opponents to 17 points, 141 rushing yards, and 185 passing yards per game. Oshkosh will be the fifth Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) team Coe has faced in their program history, and the second in 2026.
Week four will serve as the bye week for the Titans and most of the conference. The only exception will be UW-Whitewater, who will be taking their bye week in week three, and play during week four.
The WIAC slate begins in week five, with UWO hosting the Eagles of UW-La Crosse on Oct. 3. The game is also Hall of Fame Day, where the 52nd UWO Athletics Hall of Fame induction class, consisting of Jack Borski, Pete Delzer, Michelle Dziak, Shane Lohr, Stan Mathes, Cole Myhra, Matt Thull and Ben Zill, will be introduced to Titan Nation ahead of the induction banquet the next day. UWL holds the all-time record between the two schools at 54-18-6, but have gone 5-5 in their last 10 games including 2025’s bout, ending in a 44-13 win for the Eagles. After UWL lost in the third round of the postseason, the Eagles changed head coaches, with defensive coordinator Michael Zweifel taking the reins after Matt Janus resigned to become the head coach of NCAA Division II Northern Michigan.
The reigning NCAA Division III national champion UW-River Falls will play host to the Titans in week six at Smith Stadium at Ramer Field on Oct. 10. Last season, UWO was the only loss the Falcons suffered, as Oshkosh sealed the 21-17 victory on a game-winning touchdown pass with ten seconds left on the scoreboard. UWRF will also be under a new head coach in 2026, as Matt Walker resigned to become the next head coach of NCAA Division I FCS Drake University (Iowa). Jake Wissing will be the interim head coach in the upcoming season.
Week seven will play host to the 77th meeting between Oshkosh and UW-Eau Claire at Carson Park on Oct. 17. Although UWO has gone 9-1 in their last ten meetings against UWEC, the Blugolds still hold a 42-34 record over the Titans. 2025’s contest went in the way of the black and gold, with the Titans winning their 100th homecoming 28-21.
UW-Platteville will potentially be UWO’s homecoming opponent for the second time in three years during week eight’s bout. While the Titans got the 24-17 victory in 2024, the Pioneers turned the tables, winning the 2025 contest 21-14, en route to a third round appearance in the postseason. This will be the 110th meeting between the two teams, with Oshkosh currently holding a 55-50-4 all-time record against UWP.
Halloween frights and trick-or-treating are on the docket in week nine, as due to the WIAC Cross Country Championships the same day, UW-Whitewater will host UWO at Perkins Stadium at 7 p.m. on Oct. 31. The Warhawks took the 2025 matchup 24-7, with UWW scoring 17 unanswered in the first half. Whitewater, who made a second round appearance in last season’s postseason, have defeated the Titans in eight of their last ten meetings, and hold the overall all-time record at 82-30-5.
Oshkosh returns to afternoon kickoffs during week ten’s meeting with UW-Stevens Point at Community Stadium at Goerke Park on Nov. 7. UWO and UWSP have met the most in comparison to the rest of the conference opponents, with the 2026 contest being the 123rd game between the two schools. Stevens Point holds more victories over Oshkosh, with the all-time record being 61-53-8. However, the tables have turned in recent years, with the Titans winning nine of the last ten meetings with the Pointers, including 2025’s 41-15 victory. The last time Oshkosh lost to UWSP was in 2018, when UWO fell to UWSP 27-21.
Senior Day will potentially cap off the 2026 regular season during week 11, as the Titans will face UW-Stout on Nov. 14. The Isthmus Bowl champions defeated UWO 27-16 last season, after being held scoreless in the first half of the contest. Even with the loss in 2025, the black and gold hold an all-time record of 43-25-1 over the Blue Devils, including an 8-2 record across the past ten seasons.
All UWO football home games are set to be played at J.J Keller Field at Titan Stadium, and kickoffs at 1 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at uwoshkoshtitans.com once they publish the schedule sometime this summer.
