An Oshkosh man pleaded guilty to one count of coercing and enticing unlawful sexual misconduct on a minor Jan. 30.
According to a press release from the Department of Justice’s Office of Public Affairs, Bradley Hounsell, 44, communicated with an individual in the Philippines over social media requesting sexually explicit photographs and videos of children.
In November of 2023, the international contact told Hounsell he gained access to a 13-year-old child and the two began exchanging content for money that’d be paid out to both the contact and the child.
Hounsell was indicted on the charges in April of 2025 following an investigation done by the FBI, with the assistance of the Winnebago County Sheriff’s office.
The case is brought as part of Project Safe Childhood which is an initiative by the DOJ that aims to reduce sexual exploitation of children by combining law enforcement efforts, community action and public awareness. For more information about Project Safe Childhood, visit www.justice.gov/psc.
