The UW Oshkosh women’s tennis team kicked off its spring season last weekend when they faced off against Wisconsin Lutheran College at the Pleasant Valley Tennis & Fitness Club in Jackson.
UWO won the match 5-2 over the Warriors to improve to 9-4 on the 2024-25 season.
The Titans collected wins with a clean sweep from three of their double’s teams which included Mana Usui and Kayla Gibbs winning their match 6-1, Cate Gerl and Vianna Dao won their match 6-1 and Courtney Carpenter and Brianna Owens would finish off the double’s session with a 6-2 win.
Oshkosh went on to win four of its sixth singles matches with wins from Mana Usui, Kayla Gibbs, Courtney Carpenter and Cate Gerl.
The Titans hit the road to face off against Moraine Valley Community College (Illinois) in Palos Hills, Illinois, on Saturday.
