Menominee Park road closed for reconstruction through mid-October

Road work on the street that winds through Menominee Park, known as Pratt Trail, begins today. The street is closed to traffic during reconstruction, which is estimated to be completed by mid-October.

Parking is available near the Lake Fly Café on Siewert Trail and along Merritt Avenue during the project. The Menominee Park Zoo will remain open until its scheduled closing day on Sunday, September 24.

Reconstruction work includes replacing stormwater infrastructure, curb and gutter repair, and new asphalt pavement along the entire length of Pratt Trail from Merritt Avenue to the intersection with Siewert Trial. Pedestrian trails crossing Pratt Trail will also be closed during this reconstruction project.
